A highly excursion that connects two of Morocco’s greatest royal capitals is the 3 days desert tour from Marrakech to Fes. So, you start in Marrakech and travel via the Atlas Mountains. You can then discover a significant portion of southern Morocco. On the way to the famous Ait Benhaddou and Ouarzazate Kasbahs, you’ll pass through quaint Berber towns. Besides, you have an overnight stay at a classic hotel in the Dades Gorges.

On the next day, you take a leisurely stroll through the Todra Gorges before making your way to Merzouga. You also have a camel journey into the desert where you will spend the night in a nomadic bivouac under the stars. Finally, we’ll take a different route to Fes. Itinerary : 3 days tour from Marrakech to Fes

Day 1 : Marrakech - Ait Benhaddou - Ouarzazate - Dades Valley

Pickup from your hotel or riad at 8:00 AM marks the start of your excursion. Before you reach Ouarzazate, the entrance to the Sahara, we will travel across the Tizi-N-Tichka pass in the High Atlas Mountains. We’ll then stop by Ait Ben Haddou Ksar. It is a well-known UNESCO World Heritage site. It has also appeared in Hollywood productions like “Lawrence of Arabia” and “Jesus of Nazareth.” Besides, a stunning panoramic view awaits you at the top of the Kasbah’s tallest hill. Thereafter, we’ll continue on to Ouarzazate, passing through the Skoura palm grove and the Valley of Roses on our way to the Dades Gorges. Finally, you’ll have dinner hand spend the night at a comfortable hotel in Dades Valley.

Day 2 :Dades - Todra Gorges - Merzouga Dunes (Erg Chebbi)

You’ll begin the second day of 3 days tour from Marrakech to Fes with a traditional Moroccan breakfast. Before reaching the Todra Gorges, we’ll travel down the Road of 1000 Kasbahs and through charming Berber settlements. Then, you reach Tineghir and its luxuriant palm grove and visit Todra Gorges.After that, we’ll stop at a panoramic viewpoint of the golden dunes in the Merzouga Desert. Later on, you’ll see a magnificent sunset during a camel ride across the dunes. You’ll spend the night in a camp in the Merzouga Desert.

Day 3 :Erg Chebbi - Ziz Valley - Midelt - Azrou - Ifrane - Fes

On the third day, we’ll get up early to enjoy breakfast at the bivouac and the first rays of sunlight. Then, after travelling through the serene Ziz Valley, Errachidia, and Midelt, we’ll ride camels back to where we met our driver and travel to Fes. We’ll stop for lunch close to Azrou before visiting the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you might see the region’s resident monkeys.
